Photo: Phil Knott for the GuardianKaty Perry appears to be drinking the Kool-Aid... or at least shampooing with it.The 2010 Teen Choice Awards 2010 host dons several rainbow-hued wigs in a fashion spread for the Guardian's Aug. 7 magazine.In an exclusive shoot with photographer Phil Knott, the outspoken pop star transforms from a blonde Faye Dunaway look-alike in a camel trench to a sassy Bettie Page pinup with swamp-green locks.Perry, who has been sporting wigs for her latest "Teenage Dream" album, also dons a platinum beehive paired with a NPRPA polka-dot dress and jewelry from Chamal, Erica Anenberg, and Chanel.In between playing around with strawberry red and peacock blue wigs, Perry opens up to writer Tom Shone about Weaving hair future hubby Russell Brand, her born-again Christian parents, and her climb to the top."I don't feel like I'm very pop-star lame, but I'm definitely not hipster-cool," she says."I'm somewhere right in the middle of it all. Because, for me, I want to sell out, but just not in the 'I've sold out' kind of way.
